I am a licensed psychologist with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and a registered nurse with the Order of Nurses of Quebec.
Seeking help takes courage. Looking for a caring therapist that will listen to you without judgment is the first step towards change. Together we can explore what is impeding your growth and help you make the changes necessary for you to live the life to which you aspire.
I have been in private practice for over ten years and use a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR. My goal is to use the approach that is most beneficial to each individual client.
Having also worked as a nurse for many years, my career has always focused on helping people who are in some form of pain or discomfort. I believe that genuine care for another person’s pain is essential and curative.
I also provide clinical supervision to other Psychologists and Counsellors, and I have had the great pleasure of teaching at McGill for many years. I have done workshops and have led and co-led process groups. Personally I am the mother of three and the grandmother of four as well. I enjoy downhill skiing, golf and a thirty-year passion for genealogical research.
“Judith has helped through a very difficult time in my life when other therapists didn’t quite know what to do with me. She is perceptive, intellectual, and very straightforward in her approach. Mostly, she has a great deal of life experience and draws on it to help one through some hard decisions. She is also warm, loving and caring. I can’t recommend her more highly.”
