I am a licensed psychotherapist with the OPQ, and a member of l’Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux de Québec. I have been working in the Mental Health field for 20 years both in the community and in hospital settings.
I graduated from McGill with a Master’s in social work, and a specialization in palliative care. I have worked with individuals and families who struggle with the impact of severe and persistent mental health issues, addictions, cancer diagnosis, physical disabilities, aging, loss of autonomy and dying, as well as in crisis situations.
I look forward to supporting you through your anxiety, depression, psychosis, addiction or loss. You may be feeling quite vulnerable and alone, but you need not shoulder this painful experience by yourself. Together we can reduce your feelings of fragility and powerlessness while mobilizing your inner strength and motivation to make the changes you want.
I know firsthand how it feels to live through challenging family-life situations that involve mental health issues. From these experiences, I offer my compassion and am committed to helping you journey toward finding more clarity in your own struggle. I love my work and am constantly inspired by the creativity and resilience of my clients.
I am married and the mother of four children. I find peace in nature and love to kayak, jog, read and practice yoga.
“The invaluable, generous, compassionate understanding and care she gave me in all facets of my life, to this day, revitalized my self confidence and self esteem. I could never thank her enough.”
